Betina the Dog needs a home

Hi I'm Betina, a bundle of pure love and affection.  My owner is going into an assisted living facility and cannot take me along, so she asked Second Chance Pets to help find me a home.  I'm about 7 years old and weigh around 23 pounds and I probably have some Chi in my background.  I'm house and crate trained and walk great on a leash.  I presently live with dogs and cats and everyone gets along fine.  There are no children in my home now, but I'm pretty easy going and loving so would probably be OK with considerate children 8 years old or older.  I occasionally will dart out if you leave a door or gate open, so you'll need to be careful or you'll be running after me if I get out.  My owner says that I'm a perfect companion and would make a family a great pet.  She said my only fault is that I am "talkative" and I need a secure back yard since I may dig out if the fence is not secure.  I'm playful and loving and affectionate with everybody.  If you have a place in your heart and a place near you so we can snuggle, please come see me at the Adoption Events at Petco on Saturday.


 



Adopter for Betina must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old.
 
A home visit is required prior to Betina going to a new home.
